William (Bill) is Chairman of Lamar Lighthouse Camp and the President of the board of directors. He also chairs the Programming and Promotion Team. Bill has been on the board for 13 years, serving in these capacities for 12 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy from Roberts Wesleyan College in North Chili, NY. He has served as an ordained pastor for 37 years, first in the Free Methodist Church, then in the Wesleyan Church. He presently pastors in a two point Wesleyan Church charge in Forksville, PA. Bill has been there for 6 years. Bill and his wife, Nancy recently celebrated 37 years of marriage. They have 3 adult children and 6 grand children. Bill loves living in Sullivan County where he hunts.

Lynton was a Free Methodist pastor for 41 years. He retired in 2010. He lives in South Williamsport, PA with wife Nancy of 55 years. They have two married daughters and 12 grandchildren. Lynton and Nancy attend Northway Community Church (FM), Williamsport, PA. They are camp cabin owners and love LLC!

Treasurer Bruce Trick (2020)

Bruce has been the Camp treasurer since 2012. Bruce attended one year at Penn State University and completed 6 accounting courses at former WACC. When work allowed, he attended Lamar Camp the summer of 1973 thru 1988. After marrying Lynette in December of 1988, he became involved again. During camp week, Bruce serves as treasurer, is on the finance and facility committees, runs the dish room and refuse collection, and spring through fall helps with mowing the lawn. He serves a couple of churches as financial secretary and treasurer. He is the forwarding agent for a missionary family. Bruce has been the office manager/bookkeeper for the past 31 years for the American Rescue Workers in Williamsport. He and his wife attend Agape Fellowship Church in Williamsport, PA. For hobbies, he likes to collect/trade/sell baseball cards, sing karaoke, fly drones, and listen to music.

Secretary Cliff McKean, Jr. (2020)

Cliff lives in State College with his wife Linda. They have two grown children who are both married. Cliff grew up in central Pennsylvania and has degrees from Penn State and Asbury Theological Seminary. Currently he works as a postal clerk at Weis Supermarket. He attends the State College Alliance church. His spiritual gifts of knowledge, teaching and service have helped him serve as Secretary for many years. Cliff and Linda own the light blue cottage (50 Washington Ave) on the Lamar Lighthouse Campground.

Janis and her husband, Lewis have been actively involved with the Camp since 2009. They have been married 52 years this year; have six children, eight grandchildren with the 9th on the way. Together, they chair the Facilities Team at Camp. Lewis and Janis love the Sunday evening concerts and do not like to miss even one.

Janis also teaches the Seekers Bible Study, oversees the Bookstore and monitors Child Clearances for staff/volunteers during Family Camp Week. If you would like to reserve the Camp for birthday/anniversary parties, family reunions etc., Janis is the board member to contact. Janis also Co-Chairs the Camp Prayer Team and serves on the Camp Vision Team.

Personally, Janis is Pastor of River of Life Fellowship in Lock Haven, PA, President of the Clinton County Ministerium (CCM), serves on the Salvation Army Advisory Board and volunteers with Sunday afternoon services at Susqueview Nursing Home and UPMC Haven Care in Lock Haven.

Janis and Lewis fell in love with the Camp Lamar on their first visit. They love Lamar Lighthouse Camp not just for the Christian family atmosphere, Sunday evening concerts, Family Camp Week and the potential of serving for a regional camp, but also for the past, present and future ministry and mission of the Camp for the Kingdom of God.

Lori Rohm (2019)

Lori has been married to Al Rohm since October, 1984. They live in Dover, Delaware, but have been attending Lamar Lighthouse Camp for several years as Al’s grandparents have owned a cottage since 1968. Lori’s involvement on the campgrounds is limited because of the distance, but she does serve as a member of the Programming Ministry Team. Lori also maintains the camp’s website. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is currently teaching middle school at Central Delaware Christian Academy. Al and Lori have 3 grown children. Their oldest daughter and only son are married. They attend Faith Community Church and gladly serve the Lord in several ministries there. Lori enjoys her students, reading, singing, cooking, and baking.

Tammie is new to the camp board, but not new to Lamar Lighthouse Camp. She has been a Camp Association Member for many years and has volunteered her time in both the kitchen and most recently with the Children’s Ministry, specifically with the preschool children. Aside from camp ministry, she is an active part of her home church where she plays keyboard on the worship team and serves as an assistant to the Children’s Ministry Department. Her occupation, for the last 20 plus years, is that of a CNA, and she also works as a paraprofessional in the local school district. Some of her hobbies and interests are sewing costumes, scrap booking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She resides in Clearfield County, PA with her husband, and they have three adult children and two grandchildren.
